Efficacy: This is all about results RATING = ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

How well did the product do what it was supposed to do? Did it work or not?

The pants work really- on or off of the mat. And they washed beautifully with no shrinkage.

In what way has it made your life easier, more productive, more efficient or not?

As of late my job as a scenic painter for theatre is very physical- I look forward to coming home and relaxing and yoga is a must at the beginning and the end of the day. These pants are so comfortable! I am eager to get to the mat when I put them on and they not only feel GREAT- but I feel great in them!

Economy: The least amount of effort for the greatest amount of results RATING = ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

How clear and simple is the design/layout?

Very simple- not a lot of ‘extra stuff’ in terms of graphics, etc.

Where there unnecessary features/explanations?

nope.

Was easy to use/interact with the product?

Yes- I followed the washing instructions and did not shrink them!!

Was it priced appropriately in terms of workmanship and usefulness?

This was a gift. On the website they are priced at 45.00 which might seem like a lot- depending on an individual’s budget. I have found though- that if it is good quality then it is so worth it in the long run- the right tool for the job!

Exigency: Auspicious needs in particular situations. RATING = ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Is this a resourceful solution for a pressing need?

For my individual purposes I would say that it was a great solution for a need- but not a pressing need.

Is this just enough? not more than necessary nor less than necessary.

For my self- yes, if these were the only yoga pants I had I would be still be so happy.

Aesthetics: This is all about Beauty and Goodness! RATING = ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Green Apple Organic Clothing Facts

I put them on and I want to be on the mat- I feel good about myself and am inspired to nurture that.

What is the product made of?

60% Certified Organic Bamboo/26% Certified Organic Cotton/14% Spandex

Is the product environmentally sustainable and/or is the company conscious about the world as a whole?

YES!

Does it bring more beauty to the world?

YES! These pants feel great- I put them on and want to head to the mat- they help nurture my practice ( a pair of pants!) I also know- having gone to the Green Apple site that they evolved from an individual’s idea to create a line of active wear that was economically and environmentally friendly -nurturing on a bigger scale.

WOW! thank you so much Elsie! You know- I would not have those pants if it weren’t for your incredibly awesome podcasts and blog. Your podcasts make it possible for me to practice- anytime and anyplace! It is your love for and sharing of Anusara Yoga that encourages/inspires me to get my mat – Thank you for all that you do!!

Thanks a lot for this review! I wonder though if they have plus sized yoga pants?

i have been slacking with yoga (shame. sad face.) but i still basically live in my GA pants. i loved them so much i bought a few more pair and got rid of all my other activewear pants. i feel FANTASTIC in them, and they are so soft and delightful. i’ve found i like the way the grey ones feel/look better than the black ones…but i tell everyone to get some GA yoga pants.

(also, every pair i’ve gotten have been from marshall’s/tj maxx…every time i go in one of those stores, i check the activewear rack to see if there are any last season green apple pants. i probably don’t need any more, but i give them as gifts!)
